We will have an abundance of delicious, fresh seafood available the week of Christmas, including many varieties that are not on our ordering list. It is very rare for us to run out of any of the major products we stock, so feel free to come in and see what’s available.
Kyeema Seafoods has been family owned for over 20 years…
Named after the family’s Blue-Eye Trevalla long-line boat, Kyeema began in Janurary 2001 when David Wilson saw an opening to supply premium quality seafood to Launceston.
Now owned by his son-in-law and daughter, Zac and Kristy Langford, the business has gone from strength to strength. With his background as a fine dining chef and love of recreational fishing, Zac has embraced the business and made it his own.
Kyeema supports local fishermen as they buy directly from boats and aquaculture farms. The seafood is then processed on site and this is what sets them apart from grocers, supermarkets and seafood handlers.
They sell fresh, local, sustainable seafood, stocking their windows based on what’s fresh and seasonal. They are the preferred supplier of all the best local sushi stores in Northern Tasmania.
